The Pre-Wedding Skin Timeline: What to Do 6 Months, 3 Months, 6 Weeks and 7 Days Before a Jaipur Wedding
The most common bridal consultation at AI Aesthetics happens three weeks before the wedding, and it is the hardest one to help. Most of what makes skin look its best on the day — laser hair reduction, pigmentation clearance, a HIFU lift, a settled acne plan — takes months, and our treatment rules withhold the strongest treatments in the final week precisely because they cannot be rushed. This timeline works backwards from the function, Jaipur wedding season in mind, so that each treatment is booked when it has time to show. It applies to grooms as much as brides.

The whole plan on one table
| When | Start | Why then |
|---|---|---|
| 6–9 months out | Laser hair removal course; acne control; AI skin analysis and the home routine | 6–8 laser sessions at 4–8 week gaps; acne needs months to settle before marks are treated |
| 4–6 months out | Pigmentation plan: peels or Q-switched laser course; hair-fall treatment | 6–8 sessions, 2–4 weeks apart; hair density takes 4–6 months |
| 3–4 months out | HIFU for jawline and lower face; RF course begins | HIFU lift peaks at 3–6 months |
| 6–8 weeks out | Skin boosters, PRP or salmon facial series; pre-bridal IV series starts | Dermal hydration and quality need weeks; IV series is spaced |
| 3–4 weeks out | Last peel; last laser hair removal session; last RF | Clear of the event window with margin |
| 7–10 days out | Final maintenance facial allowed by the rules; brows and threading | Our constraints withhold medium peels and energy devices within 7 days of an event |
| 2–3 days out | Hydradermabrasion facial; last IV drip | Glow peaks at 24–72 hours; no downtime |
| Day before | Nothing new; sleep; water | Anything new is a risk with no upside |
Six to nine months out: the slow treatments
- Laser hair removal: start now or not at all. Face, underarms, arms and legs each need six to eight sessions; the last session should be three to four weeks before the function. Full-body courses in particular cannot be compressed, and our offer bundles lifetime maintenance so the course does not have to be perfect by the date.
- Acne: a client who starts acne control nine months out arrives at the wedding with marks already faded; one who starts at three months arrives with marks being treated. Salicylic peels, clean-ups, LED and the doctor’s prescription where needed.
- AI skin analysis: the baseline that decides everything after. Pigmentation depth, barrier score, hydration and the treatments the rules will allow for your skin are all read here.
- The home routine: sunscreen discipline begins today, because every treatment below is undone by a Jaipur winter sun without it.

Four to six months out: pigmentation and hair
- Pigmentation: a course of brightening peels or Q-switched laser toning, two to four weeks apart, with tranexamic acid and a tinted mineral sunscreen at home. Melasma plans take longer; start earlier.
- Tan: body tan from a summer of outdoor functions is cleared with neck, back and arm peels now, not in the final month.
- Hair: PRP, GFC or exosome sessions monthly from now give visible density by the wedding; the Hairfall IV programme runs alongside where shedding is nutritional.
- Dark circles, under-eye and skin quality: skin boosters are planned with Dr. Aakriti on her visit days; booking early secures the dates.
Pigmentation treatment — the plan that needs four to six months →
Three to four months out: lift and firmness
HIFU for the jawline and lower face is booked now, because the lift develops from six weeks and peaks between three and six months; HIFU in the final month shows swelling in the photographs and the lift at the reception a month later. RF skin tightening begins as a course of sessions every four to six weeks and continues to three weeks before the date. Botox and fillers, where wanted, are discussed with the doctor now so that they are placed at least four weeks before the function and have time to settle and be adjusted.
Six to eight weeks out: hydration and glow from within
- Skin boosters or a series of PRP or salmon facials three to four weeks apart for dermal hydration and texture
- The pre-bridal IV series — five or ten drips, spaced weekly to fortnightly — for hydration and antioxidant support; the last drip two or three days before
- The scalp and hair routine continues; the last scalp injection session is three to four weeks before
- Body: neck, back and arm peels finish now so that the blouse line is settled
The last seven days: what the rules will not allow, and why that protects you
Our treatment-planning constraints include a rule written for exactly this week: clients with travel or an event within seven days are not given medium or deep peels or energy-device treatments. Not because they are dangerous, but because the small chance of a flake, a mark or a day of redness is a chance you cannot afford seven days out. What the week allows is what the week needs: a hydradermabrasion facial two or three days before for the peak glow, a calming red LED session, the final IV drip, brows and threading at least four days out, and sleep.
- Allowed: hydradermabrasion facial, enzyme peel, red LED, final IV drip, hydrating masks at home
- Withheld by the rules: medium and deep peels, carbon facial and Q-switched laser, HIFU, RF, microneedling, laser hair removal
- Avoid yourself: any new product, a parlour facial, bleach, a scrub, a new hair colour, a tanning afternoon at the haldi without sunscreen
- Retinol and acids: stop five days before; they make the skin flake under make-up
Jaipur wedding season specifics
- Daytime functions in December are deceptively bright; the haldi in a courtyard at noon undoes six weeks of peels without a tinted sunscreen and a hat until the ceremony starts.
- Dry December air: the hydration treatments in the last six weeks matter more here than in a humid city; a ceramide moisturiser nightly from November.
- Travel for destination functions: the seven-day rule counts travel as well as the event; plan the last peel before the first flight.
- Grooms: beard shaping laser needs the same six-session lead time; the last session four weeks out, and shaving between sessions only.
What the plan costs
| Plan | Includes | Approximate total |
|---|---|---|
| Essential (6 months) | AI skin analysis, 4–6 peels or facials, 1 hydradermabrasion before, home routine | ₹20,000–30,000 |
| Standard (6 months) | Essential plus face and underarm laser packages, pre-bridal IV 5 drips | ₹85,000–1,00,000 |
| Complete (9 months) | Standard plus full-arm and full-leg laser, HIFU lower face, pre-bridal IV 10 drips, hair plan if needed | ₹2,00,000–2,50,000 |
Every figure is at published clinic prices and is a planning estimate; the consultation produces the real plan, which is usually smaller than the complete column because not every face needs every treatment.
Pre-wedding skin timeline: frequently asked questions
When should I start pre-wedding skin treatment?
Six to nine months before for laser hair removal and acne control, four to six months for pigmentation and hair fall, three months for HIFU, six to eight weeks for boosters and IV drips. The last seven days are for hydration only.
What can I do in the last week before my wedding?
A hydradermabrasion facial two or three days before, a calming LED session, the final IV drip, threading at least four days out, and sleep. Our rules withhold medium peels and energy devices within seven days of an event.
How many laser hair removal sessions can I complete before a wedding?
Six to eight if you start six to nine months out, with the last session three to four weeks before the date. Starting later means fewer sessions and a maintenance plan after the wedding.
When should HIFU be done before a wedding?
Three to six months before, so the lift has developed and the swelling has long settled. HIFU in the final month is too late and shows puffiness in photographs.
Is the pre-bridal IV drip worth it?
As hydration and antioxidant support across the final six to eight weeks, yes for many clients; as a skin-whitening promise, no. It is spaced weekly to fortnightly with the last drip two or three days before.
How much does a pre-wedding skin plan cost?
Roughly ₹20,000–30,000 for an essential facial-and-peel plan, ₹85,000–1 lakh adding face and underarm laser and a five-drip IV series, and ₹2–2.5 lakh for a complete nine-month plan with full-limb laser, HIFU and a ten-drip series.
